Description of Service
Release-Cal is a music release tracking service that aggregates publicly available music release information and provides calendar subscription feeds (ICS format) so users can sync upcoming releases to their digital calendars.
The Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or pricing tiers in the future, with advance notice to existing users.
User Accounts
You may create an account by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account credentials or use another person's account without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that engage in abusive behavior toward the Service or other users.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service at a rate that burdens our infrastructure • Attempt to bypass any rate limits, authentication, or access controls • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose • Resell or sublicense access to the Service's data feeds without written permission • Attempt to reverse engineer any part of the Service
Content and Data
Music release information displayed on Release-Cal is aggregated from publicly available sources. We do not claim ownership over artist names, album titles, or release dates — these belong to the respective rights holders.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but we do not guarantee that release dates, titles, or other information are correct or up to date. Always verify critical information with official artist or label sources.
Calendar Feeds
ICS calendar subscription feeds provided by Release-Cal are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish these feeds without our prior written consent.
Calendar feeds are updated periodically. We do not guarantee real-time accuracy of release dates, as these may change at the discretion of artists and labels.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Release-Cal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
